Phil Wren

Assistant Solicitor

Phil studied law at Exeter and graduated in 2007, he originally trained as a barrister before cross-qualifying to become a solicitor. This background means that Phil retains an interest in litigation and dispute resolution, appearing in court as and when required. Outside work Phil keeps himself busy with a young family, amateur photography, trusteeship of his local church. He is also enjoys honing his BBQ skills (whatever the weather!)

About Phil

  • Phil undertakes a variety of business and charity work with the firm ranging from property matters to various aspects of company management in both contentious and non-contentious scenarios.
  • Phil has experience of dealing with contentious director and shareholder matters, making him well placed to also advise on how best to avoid such costly disputes in the future.
  • Prior to joining Fiona Bruce he spent two years as the Student & Young Lawyers Director of The Lawyers' Christian Fellowship leading several teams to the UN Human Rights council for lobbying and to East Africa to assist in legal aid projects.
